Nursery Manager – Southern California (Sylmar & Gardena)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee operations at two plant
nursery locations in Sylmar and Gardena. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with
deep industry knowledge and a passion for growing, maintaining, and selling high-quality
plant stock.
Location: Onsite – Sylmar & Gardena, CA

Specific Skills
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- At least 10 years of experience in the nursery or horticulture industry
- Strong knowledge of plant care, growing cycles, and inventory management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Ability to travel between Sylmar and Gardena locations
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in an outdoor nursery setting
Responsible For
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations at both nursery locations
- Oversee growing, fertilizing, maintaining, and selling of nursery stock
- Ensure plant quality, inventory accuracy, and proper care practices
- Lead, train, and supervise nursery staff
- Apply knowledge of popular, high-demand plants in Southern California
- Support sales efforts and provide product expertise to customers
- Maintain efficient workflows and organized nursery environments
